Here are a few creative ways to celebrate the changing of the seasons
Once Labor Day is behind us, we Halloween Lifestyle people naturally become focused on Halloween. But astronomically speaking, another very significant event will take place this weekend.
The Autumnal Equinox has been a day of celebration for cultures around the world, as people have marked the passage of time and the cycles of the year since ancient times. (An equinox is the astronomical phenomenon when the days and nights are of equal length.)
On Saturday, Sept 22 at 9:54 pm, the 2018 Autumnal Equinox will occur. That means starting Saturday, the nights will grow longer and the days shorter until the Winter Solstice in December.
For those of us who love Halloween, the equinox doesn’t have to be just a milestone in the passage of time; we can rejoice in it and make it a real celebration of the pleasures of the season.
